We often run into threads and posts where "information" is bandied about as though it were the Gospel according to St. Gunman. Much of this information, taken from emails that float around the globe on a regular basis and land on all of our desks at times, is flawed at best, inaccurate at worst, misleading to say the minimum.

Before we work up our outrage into an appropriate lather, it's always a good idea to check the facts before we post. Here are a couple of links to sites that will help verify the goods before we distribute them as certified.
