That reddish hue from the photography, or is that the finish on the actual pistol?? If so, that is really attractive!! Nice gun show find. I always go with eyes open seeing if I can find something interesting for the right price.

Have you taken it to range yet??

That reddish hue (we always called it 'purpling') is common on blued guns; a not-that-old NIB 439 of mine has it.
Not sure what,exactly, causes it.

I'm sorry, I'm not up to date on the PP TP line, I assume due to the red dot in the pic, that is the safety, what's with the machining of the area surrounding the red dot? Is that typical of the Ulm factory? Other than that, yes, that sounds like a good pick up! Just Curious.
