Today, I brought home a blued steel Walther PP Model 7.65 m/m, just curious? the serial prefix reads #969XXX. Could anyone please tell me when this PP model was made, the bluing shows lots of holster wear.

Love these Walthers, Thanks:D

What "prefix"???

"#969XXX" is next to useless. Is "#" a prefix? Is one of the "X"s a suffix? If you want help dating from serial numbers, you'll have to be more precise, both with symbols and numbers. Why don't you avoid the confusion and just put the whole serial number in quotes?
