was just messing around with my P99 and decided to take the striker out for the 1st time. the striker assembly is very similar to the Glock. i took the P99 spring off and it looked like a Glock striker spring, except for length. so, i have a bunch of spare glock parts and put a Glock spring in the P99. i measured the SA pull stock (3lb 12.6oz) and with a factory Glock spring (2lb 9.6oz). will go to the range tomorrow to try it out with the Win Value Packs (115gr) and Speer Gold Dots (124gr) that i normally shoot. if all goes well, i'll try one of the 4# Wolff striker springs. in the 3weeks that i've owned the P99 i've got about 500rds through it, so the trigger is starting to get less gritty.

went to the range today and put 200rds of Win Value Pack and 50 Speer Gold Dots through the P99.  Did not have 1 malfunction.  i like the lighter feel of the trigger.  the DA is measuring in at 5lb 4.3oz.  all measurements were taken from a 10 pull average.

Quack... I'll be interested in reading what kind of DA & SA trigger pull you get with the reduced power Wolff 4# spring.
