Many years ago I purchased one. It has a very nice polished blue finish. The slide is slimmed-thinned I guess to reduce weight for the lower power cartridge. As I recall it was very expensive at the time. Have never shot this one and it remaines in original box inside safe. I guess this model was not very popular as I have not seen another one since?

I've got one like that. I've shot it thousands of times and it's still like new. It's the most reliable .22 auto I've ever had. When I tell people it's NEVER jammed or failed to feed they think I must be lying but it has always been 100% reliable. Slide is thinned for lighter weight like you said.

Yes they are expensive......but I think the PPK in .22lr is the most expensive of them all, besides the PPK-L
I have a '83 PP in .22lr that I bought well used.....(no Interarms on it)
I have not had much luck with it though and need to do some work to it....
either the extractor spring or the extractor is no good anymore... out of 10 rounds I have at least 2 that won't extract....
also the slide is a bit pitted.. but for the money I paid I can't complain.
