I've heard several people suggest against using +P ammo steadily in the P99.

I have 1,000 rnds of Geco 9mm ammo straight from Switzerland. This stuff is very good, clean ammo, 124 gr FMJ. As some of you may know it's slightly hotter than our off the shelf 9mm here in the States.

If I shoot up my 1,000 rounds in the P99, do you guy's feel I'll harm the pistol? My guess is no.....this ammo is the "standard" pressure in Europe, and the P99 is German so they should be built for one another.

Opinions appreciated.......

No you won't hurt it at all. Geco 9mm is my favorite ammo followed closely by Fiocchi 124gr Combat Truncated Cone.

Shoot away!

PLEASE!!

Where can I find (online) GECO 9mm FMJ ammo?

This is the very best range ammo for my P99.

But I can no longer find it!

Thanks

Geco ammunition is terrific and will cause no undue wear to the pistol. The only item that will wear out is the recoil spring [with use] and it is designed as a disposable item.

I wish I could locate Geco ammo again.

Shouldnt hurt it any. I've put 1000 rounds or more of +P through my P99, and about 2000+ rounds of CCI Blazer. Not even a recoil spring replacement yet.
