So this came into my shop the other day for repair/restoration:
Trigger Air gun Gun barrel Gun accessory Everyday carry

This is the info I have determined so far:
1923 Walther PP Model 4, 3rd Variant 7.65mm/.32ACP side stamped Zella-Mehlis. I can only find 2 proof/makers marks of the Crown over N on the left side at the trigger guard and just above on the slide. Slide and frame appear to be matched set with the last 3 of the serial number stamped in the hammer well.
I know Walther subcontracted these out at that time period to 6-8 different manufacturers because they couldn’t keep up with demand, but those contractors usually marked their product, so is this a genuine Walther made by Walther and not a sub? Can any one provide any more detailed info on it? I do have all of the parts, though the hammer is broken in two at the main pivot pin so that’s going to need replacing with a used one or I’ll be fabricating one.

Thank you from Georgia.

........I actually found one online, a bit pricey, but client said "buy it". LOL, yet another waste of time messing around.
