Can anyone tell me where to get just the front sight for a P99 as a night sight? Does anyone sell just the front or would I have to buy a whole set and just use the front one? Would prefer to get an appropriate height stand alone front.

Not sure. Maybe you can call one of the better known companies like Trijicon, Meprolight, Heinie... and ask them if they'd be willing to do it.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want such a thing?

Dunno, just got used to it once that way, now its how I like it. I realize it doesnt make the most sense, but its just what I know.

You can call Mepro/Kimber and buy one from them. I just bought a new P7 front sight since I broke mine installing it

Don't for get PT Nitesites, PT makes a perfectly good night Site That I have on my S&W 99/40 and they offer the rear sights in colors like Red, blue, Green, yellow, I myself have the Orange Rear sight with Green front. PT is a Dallas company and is easily contacted and quite helpful over the phone, They offer a full 10 year warranty, (I have a Glock 21 with a set of PT Bar Dots night Sights that was installed in 1995 and are very bright and usable today.) My Smith & walther 99/40 has been wearing the Green/Orange combo for about two years at this point with no problems.

Did the same. Added just the front. Thats the way I like it. All the companies I tried were out of stock on the Trijicon so I called S&W/Walther and they had it in stock.
