I just ordered a PPQ M2 4". I am wondering thoughts on a rail light with laser or just a laser itself.

I currently carry a Glock 22 (on duty) with a TLR1 and train with it regularly. Agency policy prohibits lasers.

I am looking a TLR8. https://www.streamlight.com/en/products/detail/index/tlr-8-g

or a Crimson Trace CMR-206. https://www.crimsontrace.com/products/by-product-type/laser-sights/01-4620

I am going to use a Craft Holster. https://www.craftholsters.com/walther-ppq-m2-light-laser-bearing-holsters

My personal opinion is rail light with laser because you get both in one unit. My hesitation is use of the rail light switching from laser to light.

Thanks.

For these old eyes, a laser is useless, but I just put TLR - 7 on my ppq, and I couldn't be happier with it. It is very bright and very focused, but paradoxically, the peripheral spillover is quite wide.

The point of aim is dead center of the focused beam, so I can actually shoot 10" groups at 7 yd without using sites. It also has a strobe that can be easily selected or completely disabled with a code.

It arrived!!!

My PPQ M2 arrived yesterday. I got for $483.00 with three 15 round magazines.

I also ordered a TLR8G and a specific make / model holster from Craft holsters.

I can't wait to get to the range. I have to qual for work on the 17th. I will putting some rounds down range when I am done.
