As I promised in my first thread (which I haven't seen any reply yet) here is a short resume of my first outing with the new (used) P22. At first I was having feeding problems which I correctly figured out was caused by either bad or dirty magazines........they were very dirty !!! After a good cleaning they performed like new (?) and I didn't have any problem with any of the 6 different brands of 22 ammo I brought. I shot at least 150 to 200 rounds with great results and after adjusting the rear sight, it was very accurate. I'm looking forward to my next outing coming up. BTW, What brand of Remington is not supposed to work in the P22 ?? I shot Rem Yellow Jacket, Cyclone, Thunderbolt, and viper. They all shot most excellent thru my P22. Big Shot

I have never had a feedong problem with any Remington ammunition. All their stuffed worked fine with my P22. I have heard that the Vipers will jam because of the truncated cone, but you did not have any problem with them. Congratulations on your purchase and I am glad everything worked out well.

I had 2 jams with the Viper ammo at today's range session. Now the temps today was in the mid 20's. Last weeks effort was with the temps in the low 50's. I got slightly larger groups with last weeks same ammo today also......Am I on to something here ???? Last weeks best was with CCI standard 40 gr. with the Viper doing real well. Today's session (colder) showed the American Eagle 40 gr.(made by Federal) with the best group with the Viper not doing as well. By far the worst has been with the Winchester Super X, my P22 doesn't like that ammo at all !!!! I'm going to do more testing when the temps get back up around 70 deg and see what happens to the groups again. I will definately relay the results here for everyone's knowledge....So stay tuned....Big Shot
