I'm a newbie to the forum. I just bought the last P1 on the shelf at Gander Mountain ($269 - I couldn't pass it up).

I have experience with 3 other Walthers - the P5, PPK/S and PPK. All of which are well made firearms (of course
)

I noted that the bottom of the feed ramp was ding-ed a bit (the only shiny marks on an otherwise rearsenaled firearm).

Have any of you seen this on P1s?

Looks like the top of the mag may have hit the ramp too hard after repeated insertions.

I love mine,it shoots great and the ammo is cheap.
Since the P-1 has a aluminum frame it is very possible that this was caused by the bullet loading as it is a soft metal it also could be partly from someone inserting the magazine too hard.
Hopefully your P-1 has the steel reinforcement pin in the frame.
