I've been looking for awhile now for a nice PPK. Found it today for $500 at the Ft. Myers gun show. Nice Stainless Steel PPK (not PPK/s), 380, Interarms. Searching now for more info on the gun such as approximate mfg date (A075XXX). It appears somewhere between 1990-1995 based on some searches on this site.

In your disassembly pictures, you show the open end of your recoil spring in the wrong orientation. When the recoil spring is on the barrel, the clipped (open) end must go on first.

I like your Ranger.

thanks very much
Welcome from South Carolina.
Welcome to Waltherforums!

Your US- (Interarms/Ranger) made PPK was probably made in 05/94.
Hello and welcome from South Carolina.
PPK - nice; very nice.
Pictures, why are there no pictures?

Thanks. I just laid the parts out to take a picture for security purposes. When the gun was reassembled, it was put together with the spring in the correct position
