Just bought a PPQ M1 5" from them. I already knew I'd be keeping it.

Could be that Walther is trying to move some polymer PPQs before expanding the SF line? Fingers crossed.
Of course we must realize this pricing is not gunbuyer but rather Walther dumping product in the marketplace.
How do all those purchasers feel that paid the $750 to $850 for their Q5 plastics? How bout those same folks that might be trying to sell a used gun even though it might be a safe queen? They now have a competitor, the same company that manufactured their $750 - $850 Q5; yep, Walther!!
Manufacturers do control the market. When they have inventory sitting, they will dump it at any cost to unload it. As the old saying goes, what goes around comes around! Caveat Emptor!!

Capitalism at its' finest! Market forces at work!
∆ Yup. Classic marketing line extension. $650 for Q5 is pretty good deal.
That’s a very short term deal. Expires in a week.

looks like the price deal is from gunbuyer, and it ends in a week. but the 30 day money back guarantee is from Walther, and that ends in June

So did I, but a 4" M1. Just five minutes ago!

Got a 4" M1 9mm supposed to be at my FFL today. If its as accurate as the recent M2 45ap, it will be a keeper.
Have you used the paddle release before?
FWIW, the 9mm is likely to be a bit more accurate at the same distance and power loading.

Mmmm, I'm struggling to understand what use a steel frame would be on a 4" M1 or M2, much less on PPQ Sub or CCP.
Of course we must realize this pricing is not gunbuyer but rather Walther dumping product in the marketplace.
Unlikely. The $469 price tag for the M1 is only $10 less than the $479 price which it has been for over a year. I bookmarked the page on GunBuyer and checked revisited it frequently.
It is more likely just clever marketing by GunBuyer. At $479, a customer will see 'nearly $500,' but at $469, s/he'll remember 'just over $450.'

I myself was aware of this ploy, and that it was only 10 Bucks, but it damned well worked and I bought it!
Is the new PPQ Q5 Match Steel Frame included in this promotion? I can't find one in stock anywhere online. Anybody know a vendor who has one?
