I too am interested in this. Especially an "old school" (don't know what that might be) leather "on the belt" holster for a PPK. (I once saw a GI modified WWII PPK holster in which most of the flap had been cut away with the part remaining serving as a retention strap.) I've googled without luck.

Hello DE Pistole,

Ebay has WW11 reproduction PP flap holsters. Wish it had a snap retention; might be able to install a snap.

If you want a strap Bianchi 19L, suede lined and the snap is covered so it does not touch the gun.

My personal favorite is an old Safariland 15 with the suede lining, no longer made but pop up on the bay, I have about 6 some lined some not.
