extraction marks on .40 brass?

All of the brass out of my .40 P99 have a short - about 1/8" - mark/dent at about 45 degrees. I'd guess that it hits the top-right of the slide on the way out.

Sizing "mostly" squeezes the mark away.

Is this normal?
