New guy here. Been on forums for years.

Stumbled onto a nice PPK box and tools.
Any of the cleaning stuff original, besides the rod and aluminum box?

I’m thinking this is ww2 era, at least 1931-45.

The corners of the box top have split, but it’s still solid. There are oil stains inside.
Any guesses on value?

The blued cleaning rod, the wood triangular piece and the aluminum box with small bottle, yellow cloth and cellophane pack are original to the box. Everything else does not belong there as original.

1/3 of what Colt guys pay for original boxes.

A complete box with numbered RHSA magazine sold a little bit ago, granted the bulk of the cost was most likely the magazine.
