Dear all,

What can you say about dry firing  P-99? Is it bad or does it really hurt the inside mechanism (say about 200 times a week).?
I normally include dry fire practice during my holster draw exercise. Any inputs ?

I have heard that its safe to dry fire a Walther. Personally I dry fire mine alot, recently I aquired a CZ75B which is not safe to dry fire. I went out a bought a couple of snap caps. If your really worried about breaking the firing pin/striker, just buy a few snap caps. They run about 5 bucks a pop, or make your own snap caps. Its pretty cheap.

Hope it helps

Thank you guys for the information and inputs. I visited P99 FAQ and found a lot of really good information about the pistol.
I guess I'll enjoy more my Euro P99 QPQ (9mm).
