Here's the more technical explanation:
The P99 DA/SA is like a traditional DA/SA auto: A long,smooth initial pull (about 8 lbs) followed by shorter single action pulls (about 4 lbs).

The QA has a partially pre-cocked striker, so it's very much like firing the standard P99 in SA mode. So if you're having trouble with the SA pull, the QA might not be a good idea.

After a little research, this is what I'd reccomend:
If you like revolvers, get the P99 DAO.
If you like Glocks, get the P99 QA.
If you like traditional DA/SA autos, get the P99 AS.
