I was able to go to the range today to shoot my 9mm p99.
The only spot open was at the 7 yard so I worked on my double and triple taps with 2 to the chest and 1 to the head.
Very quick trigger reset and the more I shoot the better the trigger gets.I noticed another shooter with a p99 but didn't get tp talk to him.Anyone have any tips to improve my time on the double taps or is it just a matter of practice.

Gee, I had my day at the range today also

Took my spankin' new P99 Titanium DA/SA and my spankin' new P99QA.

P99 Titanium was same old boring accuracy as expected

P99QA was interesting
Takes some getting use to. Trigger reset is longer, harder to predict when it will break compared to the SA trigger on the standard model.

I've decided I can't mix them at the range, I'm not able to shoot as well switching between them.

Practice Practice Practice.

I too cannot transition between the P99 and the P99QA without having problems. The QA's trigger reset is just too long, especially after shooting a std. P99.
Thats OK though, the QA is my wifes pistol of choice anyway.
