I have bought a PP and are not sure on the manufacture date.
I have been informed that the pistol are from 1941 but still want to ask you members here.

Fact : Serial number 1669xxP (almost 167000P)

What is the proof mark? Crown over N, or Eagle over N?

It is the later mark with the eagle over the N.
It seems like 1941 could be right but I am not sure, could be sometime 1940-1942 ?

I do not have it in "my hand", waiting for the license from the police........ can just not hold my qestions back until I have got it.

You are correct in your assumption of the date. More than likely it was made in the later part of 1940 or early 1941.
