Things have chnaged a bit.... I think I have mentioned this before some place
Walther is allowed to proof slide and barrel themselfs with the laser since the hard parts wear out the "official" eagle/N stamp to fast....
so Wendesdays the goverment employee goes to Walther and puts two over preasured rounds through the guns and then stamps them with his ofiicial stamp on the frame only anymore.......
the rounds are just shot in a dark hole and the guy makes sure the barrel is still in spec and then the gun is good to go
