Coming over from Glock

Well I've been a fan of Glock for a long time now but situations came about that left me selling all my Glocks. That sent me looking for a new carry gun.

I had always liked the PPQ but was looking more at the CZ P10c optics ready or maybe a Glock 19 MOS. I really wanted an optics ready pistol this time.

 I had no idea this was even a thing

So an hour later making sure I was making the right choice along with some shopping for prices I made the click.

Congratulations. Welcome to the family. I think you will find the Walther a more refined gun than the Glock. You made a good choice. Let us know how it shoots for you!
Thanks guys, I'm very excited. My main concern right now is a good comfortable holster. I really don't like the double hook Alien gear type. I like single hook or I might try a leather holster, never had one of those.
Heya, welcome aboard. Excellent choice in a handgun, too.

Your username....the 32v, does that pertain to a Ford engine, by chance? ;):)
Congratulations.... just imagine having a gun with sights and a trigger that doesn’t need to be replaced out of the box! Just teasing. As a G19 owner I must say my PPQ feels and shoots better.

What happened? Did a beam of light come down from Heaven and illuminate you.............like Belushi in the Blues Brothers?

It's hard to let go of Glocks, so dependable and accessories are everywhere. But there is just no comparison with the PPQ. Trigger, handle, sights, etc. are some much nicer on PPQ. I probably will never get rid of my Glocks but they are kinda second string to PPQ and PPS M1.

Not at all. I just happened to sell all my Glocks before buying another one and thought "Should I just go a different direction for the hell of it?" and I did.
Yup. I like watchin' Ford kickin' the bowtie's ass. Yes indeedy.

I'm more old school (for now, anyway). '87 Mustang, swapped in 5.0, some minor stuff. P heads, E cam, etc. Ought to be about 300 at the rubber. Need to do a little more to it, find a tuner in the spring, open 'er up for real.

What I really want is an '03-4 Cobra. I want some of that 32v action lol.
Congrats! A friend of mine is a retired police office and he has carried Glocks forever... He was over a few nights ago and I introduced him to the PPQ both 9 and 45.... you should have seen the grin on his face when he pulled that trigger!!! It was a blast to watch!
You won’t regret your new choice!

My last mustang was a 2000 G T very or at least started its life that way. It had a built motor, long tubes , novi2000 cams, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Rolled in 335s. Street legal.

Sold it....too much stuff to brake and have to fix.

I got out of cars when I got a house and kids. Can't afford a hobby that at any minute I can break something that cost $1,000-3,000. At least with guns if I buy a $2,000 gun I most likely can get $2,000 back.

Ah!.....I'm disappointed!.......I thought there had to have been some kind of divine intervention to guide you to the correct path.

Hey Stopsign32v, enjoying you vaca from the Files lol? Nice to see that you turned away from the darkside, and now see the light...
I don’t own a Glock....too boring for me. But ya can’t argue with their system and their success. Every platform is virtually the same. Eloquent simplicity too.

LOL yea, in sunny Florida on vacation for a week. I'm pretty excited about the PPQ and I'm currently looking at a Q5 Match.
