I prefer Simple Green and hot water, followed by a hair drier for all my polymer handgun frames. I've seen too many plastic parts either melt or discolor after contact with Gunscrubber.
Don't tell the wife, but I use the kitchen sink, fill it with HOT water, add a small amount of Simple Green, let it soak for 10 minutes or so, use an old toothbrush to scrub down the nooks and crannies, then rinse thouroughly with HOT water. Use a hair drier to displace any residual water.
I then lighly lube the trigger group area, frame rails, with Rem-Oil.
It comes out super clean, and minty fresh.
