070F18B5-B727-4AAE-BC09-0AA317561817_1578535631287.jpeg I was cleaning some pistols and decided that I wish Walther would come out with a replacement for the PPQ SC. It’s awkward looking and feeling to me. Even though it has a redesigned slide it just looks like a truncated PPQ.. I tend to rotate between my PPQ and PPS M2 to my FN 509 midsize and my FN 9c. The 509 mid is almost the exact size as the PPQ and the 9c is only a little thicker then the PPS except it has 12 rounds. They are relatively close in shooting experiences. If Walther would come out with a similar sized pistol to the 9c I’d be all over it. The P99c might be close but it’s almost impossible to find a 9mm new.

I hear you. The P99c is closer and goes from 10 to 15-16-18 with the adapter easily. The CCP2 in 380 is of no interest to me nor is the PPQ SC (plastic parts where there were metal in the PPQ???). So, Walther lost a sale to Beretta when I picked up a fascinating PX4 the other day. How on earth is it that Springfield can come out with a 12 round SC and Walther seems incapable?

I think many of us were a bit disappointed in the PPQ SC. I know I was hoping for something more along the lines of my P99c.

Some owners of the SC seem to like it but I just can't warm up to it. Mags are not interchangeable with the full sized Q and that in and of itself was a deal breaker for me.

I'll get by with the P99c... :)
