I've now have nearly 600 rounds through the P99 AS, and I've noticed that the trigger seems to break further back in the guard than when the gun was newer. In fact in SA, I can nearly back the trigger to the frame while in those last few moments of the squeeze just at the break point. My recollection is that it broe much further out before. Is it normal for the set position to change?

Neither of my p99's has very much over travel after break. Perhaps as you get more comfortable with the gun you're noticing its trigger behavior more.
That's not what I mean. There's NO over-travel after break. But the break point is just about against the frame; didn't seem to be that far back earlier in the life of the gun.
