I suppose we could just use Glow-On paint to give us "poor man's" night sights. I added it to my PPX and works very well. May try it on my CCP.

It is nice to see at least a set of tritium night sites may now be available from TruGlow. I am hoping they will expand the offering to their combination tritium/fiber optic day/night sites (specifically their TFX Pro series). Hopefully sooner than later.

Has anyone found any other night sight options for the ccp? I'm kinda leery of xs big dot. It states in their installation instruction that if used on the ccp it will damage the adjustment screw channel and you will not be able to put the factory sights back on after installation of the xs big dot. The truglow site still shows their sights as coming soon.

Tru Glo ProX Sights

I just saw that TruGlo was listing TFX Pro sights for the CCP. Has anyone bought these yet? I have them on several of my 9's and 40's and really like them.

FYI, the TG13WA3PC (TFX Pro Orange) is supposed to be the product code for day/night sites for the CCP. Guess we will see.

XS Sights now has CCP options

So I don't think this has been mentioned before but XS Sights now offers CCP options. They are in Fort Worth, about 18 miles from me.

https://www.xssights.com/Products.aspx?CAT=8382

I took mine down today (4/19/17) for installation of the standard dot tritium set WT-0002S-6 set, and should have them by Friday and will post pics.

Had a good chat with Bo there about the CCP sights. Don't know if anyone has looked at the rear yet but Walther machined in threads for the adjustment screw to go into in the dovetail for the sights. One thing XS said was once they install, those threads get destroyed by the set screw that holds their rear in place.

Don't know if any of the other options (TruGlo, etc) warn you about that or if they use some other system to secure the rear.

New XS Sights - Work great

May get another "Big Dot" set on my second CCP. Got regular Dot on this one.

Much easier to align than the stock sights, I can get used to them. Will shoot in match on Saturday and see how I do.

XS Sights folks are great. Mine was only about the 3rd one they've installed, have sold about a half dozen.

Shot at 7 yds variety of ammo to check zero. These sights are setup for zero hold (cover target with dot) out to 15 yds.

Both Brownells and TFO have the Tritium Pro TG231W3W with the white ring around the front sight and one handed cocking rear sight.

So I picked up my CCP today and absolutely love it. It feels so good in the hand...will it supplant my P99c for EDC? We shall see.

The weakest point for me was the sights which I had expected. On my P99, PPS M2, and PPQ, I have been quite happy with the standard Walther steel phosphorescent sights. I had an extra set (as I seem to always buy one more than I need of anything) and they went on quite well.

For the front, I had to use the screw from the CCP since the one with the steel sites had a larger head that wouldn't drop into the countersink. I had to take the Dremel to the CCP screw shorter by maybe 1/8" because it is too long otherwise. A tiny bit of red loctite above and below to prevent things from wandering. BTW red loctite is not the devil if you have a heat gun.

On the rear, this was straightforward running the old out and using a pusher to put the new one in. It's snug enough to take to the range to zero it out but it could easily be bumped out of alignment if hit just so...so I'll use a dab of the red loctite at each corner to finish the job.

They look great and now all my sight pictures are the same for any gun I carry...except the PPK, the PP, P5, TPH...

This was an easy swap if you like the Walther steel phosphorescent sights like I do. And it doesn't jack up the threads if for some reason you wanted to go back to the original sights.

Another negative for me is that I prefer the European paddles of my P99 and PPQ for magazine release.

The takedown and reassembly is a snap, I don't know what all the fuss is about. This has to be the biggest non-issue anyone could gripe about. if you can open a Coke can, you can do this. Coke even provides the tool like Walther.

Unless it feels like the P99 or PPQ, a trigger is a trigger is a trigger to me. I had no issues with it.

I worked it hard and got it pretty hot on the range today...not one hiccup. I love it!

Just ordered a set for my wife's CCP... FINALLY.

I find it disheartening (but understandable, all in all) that it has taken so long to have quality defensive sight options for what was marketed as a defensive pistol.

I'll post some pics once I have these installed and we've hit the range :)

I'm sorry for a bump...
Yes, they are not cheap! I have seen plain white dot Tritium https://thetacticalscopes.com/best-combat-pistol-sights/ that are easier to see in dim lighting, than the fiber optics. If I had to choose white dot tritium or tritium infused fiber optics without being able to see them in person first, I would probably go with .... one you have not mentioned that I just saw at the NRA Convention in Atlanta. The only thing is, I don't see them for the CCP yet, but I would check to see if one of the others would fit your gun. The unique technology behind these, if you don't have to look at your front site. You just line up the dot in the circle of the rear site. It is new tech and Tritium infused. I tried it at the show and would definitely get one if they made one for my particular gun. My preference is XS Big Dot Sights. Not sure if they make them for the CCP, they are also pricey.
Took a few range sessions to get used to them. Look at Trijicon HD Sights, Trueglo, Ameriglo and Meprolight. You can shop and compare.

Also, check out Glow-On (phosphorescent paint) he's a sponsor here and you can order direct or through Amazon or eBay.
There are a lot of useful and interesting videos on this topic on Youtube, I will leave one here, I hope someone will help in choosing the future. Good luck!

just got a CCP. and have sent it back 3 ties for quitting firing, which I now think is the mag drop really touchy. as far as those tiny sites, I got some site paint fluorescent green. mixed it up and shortened a toothpick to perfectly put the paste on the 3 dots.the paint is light activated. Will glow for about 15 minutes when it has been under a flashlight for 5( in my case).. hope this helps.

My son found a really great deal on a CCP today and bought it with the intentions of mounting a Burris fastfire 2 reflex sight, does anyone know of a mount that will work? Many thanks.

which sights fit ccp

I just bought (it has not arrived) a HVIZ fiber optic front sight. Per HVIZ customer service, it just installs using the same hex screw as the stock sight.

Just wondering if we know what fits the CCP in terms of night sights, aftermarket replacement options, etc.

Is it like some of the other options? "It fits a PPX, so it'll fit a PPQ"...that type of thing?

(Note - I have no idea if PPX sights fit a PPQ, that's just a generic example of the type of comment I've encountered around the web...)
