Just a heads up for anyone looking to get the Q4 tac in Canada it does not include the optic mounting plates. You have to buy them separate if you want to mount an optic.

So does New Zealand, from my understanding the sole NZ dealer chose to exclude the plates for a lower price. And that's a real headache for any Q4 owners. The plates retail here for about 130usd each.

So far I've only found the shield sells a walther plate (for shield optics only) and one Germany retailer that sells the #1 plate and ships to NZ. Neither choices are any cheaper.

At least we are getting one 15 rd and two 17 rd mags, for now...

$130?! Ouch. I was told $80 each but they have not been brought to Canada yet so I don't know for sure. But at least you guys get the 15 & cool 17 round mags. We are stuck with the lame 10 round mags here. None of them have the plus 2 extension.

Walther accessories are expensive and hard to find, even in the States... The 4 MOS plates together retail for 40 to 50 USD...

Not sure how I missed this post when I was doing a bit of research before buying... Would've probably picked up a Glock gen 5 mos instead. PPQ stock trigger is a little better than Glock for sure, but far from the single actions on my shadow 1. I have the apex trigger n springco trigger spring set on order, which should bring the PPQ pretty close.

Looks I'm going to shoot iron on PPQ for a while. I'd probably just get a EGW plate for my shadow 1 to test the water in production optics.

The plus 2 extension serves very well for placing the support hand.
