Check the serial numbers against the recall serial numbers to help narrow it down.
BTW, a nice looking pistol.

Grips cover the serial number, but the seller just posted it as: 444LTD.

Gee whiz, that must be Uber-RARE!!! They only churned out 500 of them. Must therefore be worth a bundle of bucks.

It's not even engraved. It looks photo-etched by some shop whose main line of business is to reproduce pretty pictures on golf trophies.

These models have been brought up before and although many of us agreed that they are not truly engraved, they still sell for more than $1,000. The last batch went for over $1,800 to some interested party. For that price I'd rather get a nice ZM pistol.

They sold for that for the same reason the Indians sold Manhattan to the Dutch for baubles and trinkets.

A price, when adjusted for inflation, remains baubles and trinkets, after NY taxes.

The wooden grips extending to the rear of the slide do make the schnozz less obnoxious.
A buddy won a somewhat similar gun, and was quoted locally $7-800.
