Agreed, Mike. This rifle will definitely be scrutinized by a reputable, licensed gunsmith before it is ever brought to the range. According to the charts within CaptRob's album, there is a myriad of different cartridges these rifles were made to accept. I still find it incredibly puzzling how the gunsmith who made that work of art never marked the proper cartridge on the firearm. That's a fundamental of just about any firearm I've ever known of! Strange.

Exact Rifle

I have the exact rifle and wasn't a member until I searched and found your post. I have had this rifle for a number of years and shot 7.92 through it.. it is a tack driver. Mine has also a AR Germany on it. Everyone I have shown it to thinks it is a commercial turn of the century weapon but nothing beyond that. Feels good to know there is another one out there... really enjoyed mine. I have seen others that are similar, i.e. the hand stock and double trigger in different calibers.... but none with the front of the stock like this one. Glad to see your post.... my sights are not American but appear to be original and gold bead on front. Again... I really enjoy it because it is light.. fits me perfectly and shoots like it has a scope on it.
