No... Walther did not make a P99 in .45

The Frame was made in Germany, by Walther. S&W made the rest of the Gun! Not sure why Walther never made the complete gun in the 45acp..

Doesn't anyone want to buy this?? These pistols with the AS triggers are very nice..

This is new/ old stock? Do they make this anymore?
Why are you selling?
Is the SW99 grip the same as the P99?

More importantly, how much for shipping (I have no idea what it costs to ship a handgun). Obviously the local FFL will want something, but I'll figure that out.

If I may.....
the grip on the SW99 is made by Walther in Germany....
the only difference is the triggerguard and the backstrap is stippled different....
yes this is old stock... but not that old... S&W droped the SW99 about 6 months back I think (might be less than that or more, I am not 100%) the SW990L version (or QA as some say it is) is still listed on SW webpage....
the SW99 was droped due to the introduction of the M&P line.....
as to why it's up for sale, looking on other boards I have a good idea why NRA want's to sell it.... (he's got bitten by the P7-bug)
Shipping can be anything from $25-$50......
(only answered this since it is a holiday and many are away)

SW99 was discontinued at the end of 2005 - But you still see old stock new ones for sale.

The SW990L was all that was made for 2006. It is on their website but not in the 2007 catalog. So, who knows what the status of that is.
