bore axis.........

The lower the bore axis, the less percieved recoil, due to less leverage in relation to your hand. Lower is better.

Lovely responses so far
Basically I feel the same way all along. But something I can't explain, every now and then I shoot the Sig 226, always enjoy its accuracy but still not used to its high profile which resulted slower target acquisition. Guess it doesn't point as natural as the P99, at least to me.

I found/find that the p99 is better, but I've noticed with defense loads, say Golden Sabre or Gold Dots, that it tends to heel hard and to the right with me a little more noticeably than the glock and a lot more than say the Ruger P-95. I know those rounds are coming out several hundred fps more than white box, but it just seemed more noticeable. Anyone else thoughts, comments, etc.
