The new 2020 PPK blued variant has been given a nitro-carbide finish, known as Melonite, great corrosion resistance as well as a really hard skin.

Would this be the Umarex PPK/s? Made in Arnsburg, Germany. If so zinc slide/frame and I'm not sure of the finish. Same as the P22 though. A two letter date code on the frame as seen through the ejection port should tell you the year. BD = 2013, BE = 2014, BF = 2015, etc. The PPK/S came into being after the Gun Control Act of 1968 and those were blued or stainless. The much more recent .22 version is made by Umarex/Walther. 1917
