So trying to get a black oxide steel guide rod for my p99, been trying to contact bill from bt guide rods and no response. Long story short without getting too deep into it, im oda and my co said i can bring a secondary i want since we dont have enough inventory since of a current rotation. Needs to be blacked/concealed even with the slide racked to the rear. Anyone have a lead?

I think Earl's Repair still sells the german captive recoil springs in all black. My understanding is they aren't cheap though, but if you need it, there's another option to consider.

Best of luck, brother.

Thanks yeah i figured that, irony im shocked my CO actually authorized this on his end. The only thing that saved me from actually taking my P99 over seas to europe is its track record and we could get parts/service through Stuttgart if needed. If it was the sand box it would be a no go since that area is only group issued.
