At a range trip yesterday, I swapped out my 5" barrel for the 3.4" one to try it out. Shot it, everything was fine. Reinstalled the 5" barrel and the groups were all over the place!

Since it was working properly before the change, I suspected I had done something wrong with the changeout (left something loose, etc.) so I removed the compensator, checked the barrel nut, reinstalled compensator. Still bad.

Since I am insane, I repeated the same actions, HOPING for a different outcome. This time I did not torque down as much on the compensator bolts as much, and it appears to be back to where it was...

Anyone else ever seen this? How tight should the barrel nut and compensator bolts be?
