I'm not talking about the slides or ANY other parts, just the plastic lower frame.

If you have 9mm and 40sw PPS, can you do a full change out of all the internals and use the 9mm with the 40sw frame or vice versa?

If it's done like with the KelTec P11/P40, all that would be needed swapping the slide and barrel. But I don't know for sure.

The plastic itself is the same, however, you'd need to swap pretty much the whole set of guts.

It would probably be easier to to just locate a good used pistol in the preferred caliber, though...?

Thank you, that's what I'm trying to get at.
Like if you replace every single part, then will it work?
For example if you have a 9mm in black and a 40sw in grey color and you want your 9mm in grey, can you just switch over everything and have a normal PPS?

So it looks like we have one vote for yes?

There's a youtube video I watched a coupla years ago, I basically had my 40 PPS in several parts, the bare frame, the guts, the slide/barrel etc.

It's involved, but I'm mechanically inclined and detail oriented and didn't have a bit of trouble with reassembly.

I need to do it to my 9mm, for cleaning purposes... :D
