Canada guys,
Are Peterborough Boats still being made like the 18 foot lapped plywood ones my family used for fishing near Sioux Lookout when I was a teenager? Used to hang a Johnson outboard off the end and go for miles into bush country lakes for Walleyed Pike. It was cold at night with the wind in your face going home across the water in August. No windscreen of course. No lights either back then. Just navigated by treeline against the sky after sundown.

I don't think Peterborough Boats are in business anymore. Wood gave way to fiberglass.
We had an 18 ft. cedarstrip back in the 70's. Indestructible and well balanced on the water.
You still see some of them at annual boatshows every year.
Cheers,
Jammer
