I am buying a PPK/S and note that it has ACP with it and even though I know what that stands for, I do not know if I can buy ammo that is FMJ as well or must I buy something that is specific ACP?
The ACP (for Automatic Colt Pistol) is the common designation for most all .380 ammo sold in the USA. You can get it at places like Walmart and Bi-Mart, as well as at your local gun shop or online, in both FMJ and JHP. Winchester White Box ammo, often sold in 100-round boxes at Walmart, works well in the PP/PPK pistols, as does Remington Green Box ammo, usually sold in 50-round boxes. Federal, Blazer, Magtech, etc., also are widely distributed and available. You'll pay less for FMJ rounds ($18-19 per 50 unless you buy in bulk) than you will for the self-defense rounds.
ACP = Automatic Colt Pistol
FMJ = Full Metal Jacket
Buy the amunition for your Gun
if u have a .32 ACP = 7,65mm x 17mm (projectile diameter x case length)
if u have a .380 ACP = 9mm x 17mm
FMJ is only a type of any amunition
