I feel like I've been asking paranoid questions about my 40 P99.

Bear with me, I'm new to guns in general and don't know as much about what to expect as they are used and age.  While cleaning my P99 recently, after using solvent and brushing the barrel, then passing clean swabs through, yadda yadda yadda, I noticed at the muzzle end, in the rifling there are coppery colored streaks that follow the lines of the rifling.  I can't tell if it's barrel finish wearing off, or some sort of deposit in the barrell.

I use regular Hoppes 9 solvent, and practice with WWB from wallyworld.  Unfortunately, there are only 300 or so rounds through it.  Being a college student with a full time job doesn't leave much time for practicing!

Does anyone else have these streaks inside their barrel?  Again, I feel paranoid, but I like to think I take excellent care of my gun, and I want it to last forever!!!  Thanks for your input.
