I have a AC 42 P38 sn 16xxg with the # 5512 stamped on the right side of the frame opposite of the sn on the left side.
Any ideas why?

I was driving from Texas to Washington DC in my 1977 El Camino...got pulled over in West Virginia. Officer walked up to the drivers door, bent down, looked at me and said 'do you have any I. D.', and I said 'bout what'.

Same answer to the question in this post. I have no I. D.

Some ideas might be forthcoming if we could see pictures of the gun.

Trying to find out how to post pix.
Is it really that hard to understand where those numbers are?
