I have spoken with Lasermax (the internal laser) about making a laser for the walther P99 and they say they are watching the market.... i think they need some people requesting it. Please, if you own a P99, please email them requesting a laser for this model gun.

well i guess whoever emails them, let us know. We need this laser. I have emailed them twice over the past few weeks. and just that one reply so far.

I have Crimson Trace lasers on two weapons used for my home defense arsenal. Laser Max would seem to do as well.
But Gun-Tests current issue, Sept 03, has some hesitation about using either the Laser Max or Crimson Trace lasers...a variety of reasons.
My main objection to Crimson Trace is that you must use their "poorly" designed grips with their lasers. Your opinion may vary. My main objection to LaserMax is the switch on/off.
In any event I would like to have the option to buy and use a laser with my P99 if I wish so the movement has my full support.

Hey All!

Im new to the board, and I just sent an e-mail to lasermax today...I also asked them for a list of distributors in Ontario, Canada! ....That should confuse them eh? (Yes, I own a P99 "Canadian" 9mm 106mm Barrel)...Yeah, we can own handguns, but need loads of paperwork. Talk to you soon! Rob

Too soon to tell if/when we will develop a P99 sight. Check back beginning of next year for updates.

Yes, I own a Crimson Trace for my Beretta 92. Worked fine for about a month. Then -- nothing. It sat on the shelf in a holster the whole time! And, I did turn the switch off.
