I ended up here after becoming enamoured with the Manurhin pistols ... after scoring their current product, an MR73 ... wow. Then, started looking at the PP series, and so it begins! Found a PP Sport in 8.25" barrel I should receive tomorrow, I also found the P1, the alloy frame version of the famous P38 in 9mm. This one carried by the West Berlin police, and hence the Walther P38/P1 had to be rollmarked by somebody OTHER than a German company. GREAT images and understanding of the complexity of post WWII Europe.

So, hope I am welcome here as a Manurhin fan, knowing the 2 companies walked step in step for many years!

Welcome. Photos? I see them once in awhile. Wonder if they're as uncommon in Europe as in the US. See my thread 'Near Disaster at the VGCA Show' where I witnessed a near-catastrophe involving a Manhurin PP on Sunday.
