I just got a new walther 99C from a dealer here in Mass well there new to Mass they just got on the state aproved list to sell in Mass.

And Great little pistol cleaned her and took her to the range same day and would keyhole at 33ft and has a good trigger.

I have alot of carry ammo and I wanted to know if +p+ was good for the 99C oh and mine is a 9mm.

Also does anyone know what walther uses to clean the pistol from the factory??? as well what lube do they use???

Thanks mike

Reports vary on if the p99 is approved for continual use of +P even. I'm sure the p99c would hold up to +P+ but I think I'd avoid using it at least in any quantity. Theres some excellent standard pressure loads that do great from short barrels like the RA9T from winchester. Walther sends the pistols out uncleaned after test firing. Any basic cleaning kit should do just fine. I like hoppes #9 to remove powder residue, clp for general cleaning and lubrication, and a touch of whatever grease you have available on the rails.
