So, the specs on Earl's website says the following about the widths of the guns:

P99 (presumably the original version) - 1.14" (29mm)

P99AS (I'm assuming this is the '04 model) - 1.25" (32mm)

So does anyone know where the gain in girth occured? Is it the slide?

I ask because I'm trying to get a holster made. It will be kydex and 3mm may make a big difference in fit (then again, it may not).

Probably a result of the 1913 picatinny rail that they went to, instead of the Walther light rail, that's located on the dust cover.
