Unhappy PPQ M1 mags, 10 round?

As a New Jerksy hostage I had to relocate (temporarily? ) my magazines that held more than 10, so I'm looking for a decent deal on 10 rounders to fill in the gap. Anyone have some mini magazines to "unload" ?
Thanks!

Is your handgun a 9mm or a .40?

Well, DUH, I should have realized that mattered, right? Shame on me for forgetting. Mine is a 9mm.
I've looked at the best place to buy mags thread, but most of those either don't have it or are close to the $42 MSRP, and I am not in Law Enforcement to get that discount, so,,,,
Doesn't seem to pop up in holiday sales either.

I have a butchered 10 rd .40 mag someone tried to mod for a M2.
Pawn shop gave to me for free when I pointed the butchery out.
I was going to offer it to you is the reason I ask.
Mine is also 9mm .

As a longtime tinkerer, I appreciate you thinking of me. I'd have certainly tried making it work.
I'd still consider trying if I had a way of confirming success or failure, but as I don't have access to a .40, it would likely be hard to tell if my fiddling with it were to do any good, so I'd be reluctant to pass it along not knowing if I had been able to fix it.
Thanks for keeping an eye out, you never know when the right opportunity will arise.
