Well, shocked it went in this direction, but have ordered a Sig 365 SAS. The gun looks terrific even though I was looking for a hammer.

Oh well 🙂

I thought you wanted DA/SA with a hammer? Oh well. Congratulations. I'm sure you've chosen a fine gun.

Let us know how you impression once you get to shoot it.

I did! Changed my mind I guess. The gun just seemed to perfect for me in all the other ways 🙂

What were the issues with the old CC that caused you to look for a replacement?

Anxious to see the SAS; the little Sig just might be pocketable (or, more accurately, pocket drawable). The standard sights are great as sights, but somewhat snaggable.
Guys, gotta tell you, the P365 is just as good as small 9s get; soft shooting, reliable, and easy to hit with...and it holds a bunch of boolits.
And I want to see those sights.

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on one so I can see the sights hands on.

It’s been a Bersa BP9. And in truth, nothing. Just wanted something “better”.

I really want an SAS, but the ports killed it for me. I hope they bring out a non-ported version soon.

I currently carry the original/standard P365 and have pocket-carried it for over 6 months. I carry with the 12-rd magazine in the gun, and it goes in and out of my pocket just fine.

I donít find the sights to snag, but they have torn a hole in the pocket material of one pair of dress pants...

The weight of all those bullets requires a pocket shield, because, at least for me, the muzzle buries in the tip of the pocket and the bulletsí weight causes the grip to push outward. A flat, cut piece of kydex stops it from printing.

I recently bought a Raven Concealment triggerguard holster, and I think Iíve found the permanent way Iím going to carry this. Now that the 365 is against my body, I feel like the SAS features would be even better.

I love that fact that it has ports. Makes perfect sense for this gun. I am well aware of many of the stated downsides but I am not that concerned.

Could not care less about fouling of the front sight.....because not only don’t I care but the gun does not have any 🙂

Not worried at all about muzzle blast....that’s a way over stated issue especially on a shot barrel gun.

But I will practice SD shooting with it carefully and see how that goes.
