Post U.N.C.L.E Air gun

Does anyone know if Walther makes a P-38 air pistol that I could modify into the "U.N.C.L.E. Special"?
BTW, "The U.N.C.L.E. Gun.com" is a good website to go to for general info. I was just hoping that Walther made aP-38 air gun of their own.

Thanks and Cheers,

Illya

Brad Ferguson, founder of the U.N.C.L.E gun site, has a lot of options for different P-38 models to be modified (air guns, blank guns, live guns, etc) so talking to him may be the best way to get to point "B". Unfortunately, even the stuff usable on the prop or air guns is not inexpensive, but you will probably never get a more accurate repro.

Thumbs up U.N.C.L.E. Air Gun

Right You are. Brad is a really nice guy and does have some fabulous stuff.
I was hoping to find something a little bit cheaper.
Thanks for responding so quickly.

Cheers,

Illya

Not sure what the start-up costs would be, but it seems that there's a market for this sort of material, especially at a decent price-point. (A full-auto model would be cool.) I'm amazed that air soft-minded Umarex hasn't already swooped in on this to make a killing. They've ripped off virtually every other manufacturer and money-making idea in the air soft line. Why not U.N.C.L.E.?

Right You are. As Brad told me, Walther does make a P-38 B-B pistol. I haven't had the time to look it up yet. Has anyone else?

Cheers, and keep those cards and letters coming folks

You can find it here:

Walther P38

it's a typical Umarex creation, which generally means that it looks better than it operates.

U.N.C.L.E. Air fun

Hi and "Thanks" Searcher,

I appreciate the help. I'm not familiar with Umarex, but since this will primarily be for show and only occasionally fired, I do not think that would necessarily be a problem. I will look at the link once I post this.
I appreciate Your Kind help.

Your colleague,
Illya
