Bump!

I'll take reasonable offers. It's literally sitting next to my keyboard collecting dust.

I'm interested in the plate, but it'd just be a spare for me, as I've already got a couple of em'.

I am curious however, how to tell a REAL Shield from a counterfeit, as I've got more than one and they all look and operate the same.

Was just online with Shields and their rep, Ken Savill, quoted $80. shipped direct from Shileds to the US for a brand new plate.
Why take a chance on a counterfeit?
Just sayin'!

@pcar157: Don't appreciate the thread crap and perhaps you should take the time to read the post and the rules.

The issue in question is LonChaney claims he had to back out due to having a fake Shield sight.

My post states I bought mine directly from Shield and I have the invoice to prove it. You are also misinformed as the price quoted is in British pounds --they will remove VAT but charge shipping which will bring the total to ~$118 USD. How do I know? I actually purchased it.

@imaoldfart: This forum wouldn't be what it is without you and olsoul! I am also curious about the counterfeit claims.

Not thread crap as you suggest. I have been seeking a Shields sight and received an email from the Shields that this plate new is $80, USD, not pounds as you suggest. I could forward the mail to you if you wish. If you paid more than that, its' your money. My response was to "imaoldfart" to make him aware of the cost of a new plate and not a potentially counterfeit one.
Oh, and one more thing, I am aware of the posting rules as I have sold numerous products on this forum and have received very positive referrals.
Best of luck to you!
