PPX available again?

Walther Arms has made additions to its website with a new category of pistols called "Legacy." Under that heading are two models, the P22 and the PPX.

Are these two models going to be available again, at least in limited numbers?

The P22 has always been available.

As for the PPX, I'd rather have it than the creed, though technically, they're the same gun. Mags, slides, and barrels interchange, caliber specific..

Didn't the P22 get "replaced" by the P22QD (decocker version with styling to match the PPQ)? The Legacy one on the website appears to be the old one with the safety that does not decock.

Carl Walther's German website only lists the Creed and not the PPX, if that's anything to go by.

Presumably, the new legacy category only serves the purpose of making it easier to sell off the remaining weapons in the shops. This gives the impression that these models are still somewhat up to date.

On the German website, the PPX model is long gone because this product has not played a significant role in Europe. It was the first model with a pure fantasy name and was originally more or lesse designed specifically for the sale in the USA. The CCP and Creed models share a similar fate. The latter is at least a gun that may has some potential in Europe.
