Guns Over Texas Negative Review

Guns Over Texas negative review. I am a new PPX owner and was wondering about feedback on the Guns Over Texas negative review?

I saw it several months ago and never thought much about it. Most reviews of the PPX have been good and mine have performed exceptionally well as I approach two years since I bought my first one. Time will only tell if they are built to hit 5K, 10K or 20K rounds before having issues.

after seeing this thread I decided to check out the review. I have to say I find it quite humorous as my experiences with the PPX I've been nothing but satisfactory since I received my birthday present in October I have to say I have at about 500 rounds or more down range and it has performed flawlessly haven't had any problems at all. This does not seem like the kind of weapon that you would purchase and expect to have problems with. Maybe I have not been around enough higher end fire arms however comparing to our collection of XD's , glock s, s&w 's we here in this family hold the walther in high regards as we really can not see the lack of quality or craftsmanship in the ppx. It's actually our favorite choice of full size of our humble collection. So please enlighten me anybody and tell me of all the fire arms out there what makes the ppx so cheap? I had just been looking at a Sig today with a price tag lower thanks my walther....go figure. Does this mean the particular Sig Sauer is cheap? I'm my opinion a firearm with a high price tag from a poor manufacturer does not compare to a firearm from a higher quality manufacturer at the bottom of their price scale

Folks with an interest can find it here:

It's another reminder that one size does not fit all.

I don't know what's up with the Walther hate with Guns Over Texas Radio. They didn't like the PPQ either. They said it felt cheap compared to a Glock. I thought that they were smoking something when they said it. It feels as plastic as any other polymer gun. The PPQ just shoots better.

Honestly, I believe that GOTR is being paid by other gun manufacturers and their reviews are biased.

That review seemed fair enough to me. The PPX is a bit bulky and the PPX does have some construction peculiarities. They also had magazine seating problems on their test gun -- something that would negatively impact any review.

I wouldn't call it 'hate' so much as a fair review based on what they observed and experienced. That said, it's clear they compare to a 'Glock standard', as evidenced by multiple Glock comparisons in the review...

I've never heard of any problems with magazine seating itself. As far asg
Glock comparison goes....I'm not sure I see any lack of quality that seperates the walther from a glock. Side by side with my glock 19 i have to say walther seems better made...but I'm sure it's all matter of opinion. Durability wise I have just near 1000 rounds down range via ppx and haven't had any issues at all

Really? I assume you are saying the PPQ shoots better than the PPX. Care to back up that statement? Maybe retract?

I'm not here to argue I'm just stating my opinion and the truth is I've never fired appq I have handled and manipulated it a couple of occasions but never actually fired... But when it comes to just physical looks I was not quite the fan of the PPQ although the similar and appearing vp9 my H&K did strike my attentionalthough I have to say that my favorite gun to shoot is my pipi X which is just an opinion or a matter of preference but please by no means am I here to argue I'm not that well versed when it comes to firearms

Nope. Not retracting. I meant that the PPQ shoots better than the Glock....IMO.
