If you have a .40 or are in the market for one, Cabela's has 14 round magazines on sale for $9.88.

If you like the pistol, and it performs well for you, how about a good pair of shooter's gloves? "Problem" solved.

Absolutely! I wear them. And why not? I know there are people saying, well, in "real life" you don't wear gloves... I concur: "well, in real life I doubt you will end up shooting 200 rounds in 45 minutes..." Plus you always can shoot one or two mags without the glove to get "the feeling". know what I mean

Love my PPX 40

I bought my first 40 caliber PPX in November at a gun show the first time I fired it I fell in love with the trigger I added a Streamlight 2 green laser then sadly this past February it was stolen, I then found another PPX 40.C on gunbrokers.com for a great price and bought it I have big hands and it fits just right it may not have cost as much as my Heckler & Koch P30SK V3 but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I finally got my bi tone PPX in 9mm yesterday from the local gs in sunny New Mexico..Ordered it from CDNN too for $299 two Fridays ago..Got delayed a bit as I am an immigrant they had to go thru my records thoroughly..CDNN ships fast, btw!

There is a bit of grit on the trigger pull so I have to do a bit of polishing. Post cleaning I went to the range with a bud of mine, also a Filipino, and we did more than 200 rounds. This gun is not ammo choosy at all, it's a glutton and accurate! I beat his full size XD 9mm in accuracy using Hornady 147g HPs, Federal 115g FMJs and Remington ammo of the same specs..We exchanged guns and had the same results. I kinda prefer the trigger on his XD though ( less travel but then again it's broken in) but perchance in time I will get used to the PPX's..Have always been a big fan of SA triggers back in the Phils. so these neo triggers is a transition for me..

Forgot to take pics coz we were in a hurry to do our laundry ( lol! )but we will go back to the range tomorrow with our kids and I will surely take photos and post it here.

Hola everyone!

I have a few Walthers (p99, pps, ppq, ppq .22) and have been intrigued by the ppx. I did find it to be an odd looking firearm, but I've only really heard good things about it and when I've been seeing it for 279 from some online dealers, I've been wrestling with some self control to not buy it. I eventually think I'll make the purchase, and thank you for your input about it. Might be a good training and teaching tool.

Time to do it, man. The threaded barrel version at CDNN is no more so it may happen to the rest of the models in a short time.

Gonna purchase a Browning Contour URX 7.25" ss w/in the week to compliment my 1st Walther..I love dual tone pistols

Buck Mark Contour Stainless URX, 7 1/4
